Multi sports holiday camp

Leisure at Cheltenham

Dive into a week of active fun with our multi sports holiday camp. From Monday 12 to Friday 16 February 2024, kids aged eight to 12 can explore a variety of sports and exciting activities.

Join us for the whole week at just £137.50 (inclusive of all 5 days) or opt for daily adventures at £27.50 per day.

Drop-off starts at 8.30 am, and pick up is between 4.00 pm and 5.30 pm.

Activities include swimming, free running, diving, circuits, football, badminton, athletics, tag rugby, a pool party, and basketball.

Each day bring a packed lunch, water bottle, towel for swimming days, and sports kit for both swimming and sports hall activities.

Daily schedule:

Monday: Cricket, swimming, and gymnastics

Tuesday: Track event sports day, diving, and tag rugby

Wednesday: Active adventures (party games), swimming, and fitness in the gym

Thursday: Track events sports day, arts and crafts, swimming, and badminton

Friday: Football, pool party, and table tennis

Creative Explorers Craft Club

The Wilson

An artist led holiday club for ages 5 to 10, who love to make, share and play. Includes individual and group projects throughout the day to encourage creativity, language and expression within the arts. We will take a tour of the galleries, explore the works on display and discuss our favourite pieces, weather dependant we may take a nature walk outside, so please supply a coat if you are happy for your child to join.

Please note this is a drop-off session.

The cost includes all materials, and the option to add lunch on to your ticket.

10am to 3pm. Suitable for 5 to 10 year olds. 4 year olds can attend a shorter day of 11am-3pm

Diving taster sessions

Dive into the school holidays with our thrilling diving taster sessions for kids.

Mark your calendars for Thursday 15 February at 9:45am, 10:30am, and 11:15am. Each session lasts 45 minutes of pure aquatic excitement.

Discover the basics of diving, challenge yourself, and make a splash in our dedicated diving pool. Only £9 per session – an unforgettable experience for eight to 12 year olds.

Half term party session with Cotswold Children’s Parties

Join the fun at Leisure in Cheltenham this February Half Term for an epic party with Cotswold Children’s Parties during our inflatable soft play sessions.

Each session packs in 45 minutes of bouncing on castles, enjoying soft play, PLUS a fantastic 45-minute show with the amazing Phil from Cotswold Children’s Parties.

Suitable for under 8s. 1.5 hour sessions at, 9am and 11am

Frozen Continent: Adventure Time!

Gemma Bolwell of Drama Adventures, whisks you away on an exciting adventure to the Antarctic!

Brace yourselves for the piercing cold! You’ll have to sail the ship across treacherous seas, sleep under canvas and explore new lands alongside your fellow adventurers.

It’ll be an immersive storytelling session like no other, set inside our exhibition Frozen Continent.

Following the session you will make your way to our learning centre to get crafty making your own set of adventurer’s equipment.

Adults go free.

10.30-12.30 & 1.30-3.30

Sessions last 2 hours.

Please note, this session is targeted at 4-11 year olds, however all families are welcome. Children under the age of 4 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

The Frozen Continent: Exhibition

This is your last chance to dive into the extraordinary life of Edward Adrian Wilson at The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum as the exhibition closes on Sunday 13 February. Embark on a journey from Wilson’s early days in Cheltenham to his Antarctic exploration alongside Captain Scott. As Chief of Scientific Staff on the Terra Nova, Wilson contributed significantly to understanding the natural world, though the journey tragically claimed lives. His vivid artistic creations provide crucial documentation of Antarctica’s geology, biology, and meteorology.

The Frozen Continent exhibition invites you to step into the Antarctic expedition experience. Explore Wilson’s legacy, delving into an interactive display that considers the impact of climate change on our lives today. Discover the men behind the journey, their daily lives, relationships, and the driving force behind their quest for the South Pole.
