Unveiling the Christmas 2024 programme at The Cheltenham Trust venues, a festive season of elegant dining and celebratory parties; children’s fun; shows, music, dance and entertainment; festive markets; seasonal favourites bringing the magic and sparkle of this special time of year.

Join us to herald the start of the Christmas season when the trust switches on the festive lights at Pittville Pump Room on Saturday 23 November, with a day of Yuletide music, dance, food and drinks, and free entertainment, from midday building up to the switch on as darkness falls.

This year sees the welcome return of Christmas events to Pittville Pump Room, with the exciting new, elegant festive mistletoe lunches, Jingle Bells banquet parties, and afternoon teas with popular children’s characters. The return of festive events follows the re-opening of the pump room earlier this year following the completion of repair work the ornate plasterwork ceiling and dome in the main hall.

This year’s Christmas programme offers events and activities for all ages across the trust venues, The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum, Pittville Pump Room, Leisure at Cheltenham and Cheltenham Town Hall.

At Leisure at Cheltenham, the popular Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree children’s party is back, and a Victorian themed children’s Christmas party at The Wilson joins the line-up. The town hall hosts a vibrant programme of shows and events including the festive atmosphere and beauty of The Snowman; a night with the Royal Marines Band; and that perennial grumpy old man himself, Rick Wakeman with his yuletide show at the town hall.

Offering something for everyone to enjoy. Stay tuned for more details as the trust brings the magic and sparkle of the festive season to Cheltenham and the wider communities.
