Join us for a magical evening as this year’s Christmas lights are switched on at the pump room on Thursday November 25 heralding the start of the festive season.

Come and enjoy the magic and sparkle of this most wonderful time of year with festive carols and music, seasonal food, mulled wine, and special guests, with the festivities starting from 5.30pm.

Popular vintage singer Betsy Harmony will be getting everyone in the Christmas mood with festive favourites from big band swing versions of Christmas songs to traditional ‘sing-a-long’ carols, with Gloucester Excelsior Band playing Christmas carols and music.

Pick up some Christmas presents at the pump room’s first artisan market, where the main hall will host more than 25 stalls brimming with gifts, jewellery, homewares, seasonal produce from local creatives and makers. The market opens on November 25, entry is free for shopping from midday until 8pm. Festive shopping at the artisan market continues on December 5, 6 and 7 from 11am to 6pm.
