West Approach Drive gates – customer and visitor information

Next week (Monday 29 April to Saturday 4 May) there will be temporary traffic changes in West Approach Drive when the gates, behind the Heritage Café leading into Pittville Park, will be opened solely to enable a small number of residents to drive to and from their homes while the road is closed. No other vehicles will be allowed to use the temporary route. The route will take vehicles through the pump room car park and behind the café to the gates.

The temporary route will allow residents living closest to the gates to access their homes via East Approach Drive, though the pump room car park and via West Approach Drive gates, while the work, part of the construction of the Gloucestershire Cycle Spine cycle route, is carried out. The temporary arrangements will be in place from 29 April to 4 May from 8am to 6pm. The traffic arrangements will be monitored by the local authority and directional signs and information for pedestrians, and car park users, will be installed.

Customers and visitors to Pittville Pump Room, the Heritage Café and Pittville Park are advised that a small number of vehicles will be using the West Approach Drive gates during this period.
